Warlingham Sports Club

The origins of the Sports Club go back as far as 1856 and it has been an integral part of the local community ever since.

It is a Members Club, of which the majority are playing members but social membership will be considered. The Club currently provides squash, football, cricket and tennis facilities, as well as a bar which includes a pool table and darts board. There is a recently refurbished adjacent hall which is available for hire.

The grounds are also used by children from the nearby Warlingham Village Primary School.

You can contact the club on 01883 622943 or email jonrolfewsc@tiscali.co.uk.

Sponsor Warlingham Sports Club

At Warlingham Sports Club, we have just completed a major project to resurface and light two of our tennis courts and convert them into a multipurpose sports facility for use by the club and local schools.

There are still a couple of advertising hoardings left so if you are interested, or know of any company that may be interested in sponsorship, then please look at the following pdfs, or pass them a copy:

If you are interested in advertising at the new facility, please contact Mark Burns (mark@chesneys.co.uk) for more information.

Warlingham Sports Club Summer Camp

summer camp postcard

This summer Warlingham Sports Club along with ‘Let Me Play’ will be hosting a Summer Sports camp for children aged 8 -14 years of age.

Hopefully you will have seen posters around the club and all juniors at the club should have received a letter with details of the camp.

This is an exciting new concept for the club, and is the first time ‘Let Me Play’ have joined forces with a local sports club to run such an event. If successful then it will be run for at least the next two years as well.

The camp provides a very cost effective week of sports activity for the children. They can choose a specific sports stream where they will concentrate on a single one sport, or they can choose a multisport stream where they get a go at a variety of sports.

There are obvious health benefits for the children, and hopefully taking part in sport will educate them into caring for themselves and working as part of a team.

If your children are interested, please either pick up a flyer from around the club, or contact ‘Let Me Play’ as below:

Tel – 0845 009 0933

Web – www.letmeplay.co.uk

Details and joining instructions are on the ‘Let Me Play’ web site.

Please also pass on to any friends and family that may be interested.
