• Welcome to Warlingham Cricket Club

Warlingham Cricket Club was founded in 1856 and have played in the Surrey Championship since 1988. I know that some of you have been wondering about the date of the club supper, so please book your diaries out for the 16th October.

Some of you have already paid for this event from the cost of your full annual subs, so any full paying member will be eligible for a free ticket. However, the fact that you have already paid for a free ticket doesn’t necessarily mean that you have a space allocated to you on the night.

I would like everyone who would like to come to the evening to let me know by the 29th September. Please can you respond by e-mail: additionally, if you would like to bring a guest with you please let me know who you would like to bring.

Guests and non full paying members will be charged at around £25 (cost is yet to be confirmed).

I also need to get the prizes back from last year, I am not 100% sure about who won them last year but I think it was the following people:

Dilpesh – Batting
Uncle – Bowling
Nihal – Youngster
Neil Rehki and Raj – ‘Good bloke’ award

If I am correct with the above winners, please make sure you put the trophy behind the bar before the club supper (If you leave it until the night of the supper, you risk forgetting it!)

The captains (or somebody nominated) will be making a speech for their respective team, so if you fancy e-mailing your captain with some suggestions of great moments throughout the year, then feel free to do so.

Remember to let me know that you can come, otherwise there won’t be a seat (or food) available for you on the night!
Thanks
Macca
